First place winning collaborative spring summer collection designed for the 2018 Cotton Incorporated Innovations in Cotton Design competition. With funding from the Cotton Inc. company, the challenge was to design from an existing sales plan created by a team of Fashion Merchandising students. With a team of three designers consisting of Caroline Smith, Haley Bohman, and Zackery Popovich this collection was designed around the need for fashionable and transformable cotton garments, which are also waterproof. This collection was also featured in Kent State University’s 2019 Undergraduate Research Symposium where it placed second in the Fashion Design category.
Print design, denim jacket and pink cotton lawn dress by Haley Bohman, transformable jacket/ dress combination by Caroline Smith, and jumpsuit by Zackery Popovich.
